41 years young
living in Blackburn Lancashire but from Northumberland (quite near Scotland)
I'm married with two girls 7 & 8 yrs old.
I have been gaming since the days of the ZX81 - used to hate it when my 16K ram pack wobbled and I had to reload the tape - now I just have BT to put up with.
Started 1st person shooters with Doom/Quake on dial up and I've not improved much! I sometimes play COD4 but it doesn't suit my tank rush style much.
I used to ski - snow and water - but I cant find a boat powerfull enough to haul my carcass out of the water since I put on a bit of weight.
I can still play squash, but only against young peeps that think its all about fitness, the fools.

Work wise - Im the engineering director of a hydraulics manufacturing company, we make sub sea cutting equipment, jacks and pumps for oil wells.

I have been playing CSS for nearly 4 years and I have been playing on OFc for nearly as long, been playing gun game more than server one lately, not because I prefer it, but because my ping is shocking thanks to our poorly named friend "rapid switch".

good luck Stan - I've seen you on the server quite a few times - when are you generally on there? I guess you know by now the OFc thing is all about teamplay, and that voicecomms makes a big difference if you want credibility with the clan - the young kids might make that a bit tricky but the rest of us get around it.

Yes we did, but it never really caught on and only ever had two members - me and CrAp.

As to the voice comms and teamplay - I generaly lead every suicide rush and take one for the team - if im not already dead 20 seconds into a round, its because I spawned too near the back and got blocked
You dont often hear me on voice comms, other than to call a bomb site or to let peeps know when I see the bomber, but thats generally because I'm already dead, or on some of the newer maps, lost.

I use headphones and blot out the kids when Im playing, unless I hear one of them fall down the stairs.....
I have trained them to tap me on the shoulder and wait until I'm dead before they bother me in game.

I am normaly on server 2 early evening, and I generally join server 1 late on when it starts getting quiet - and of course the kids are in bed.
