plasma is fantastic for movies. the best situation is in a dark room for itand the most time i watch tv if it is dark.
I would never use it only as a pc monitor. i just want to see movies on it or maybe i buy a WII later.
the power consumption is ok. its only high if you see white pictures (snow).

My new toy :

It is not really a paraglide, it is called a mini-wing (only 18 square meter), so you can hardly go up, only downhill.
