I was hoping to use a pad for driving and keyboard/mouse for on foot etc. It's hassle to switch between them so I'm going to use keyboard and mouse exclusively. It's a bit of a learning curve to remember the keys, I've had to check the menus a few times in the middle of a gunfight to find the right key.
Worth it though as keyboard and mouse is the better option - shooting is much much faster and easier than it ever was on the 360.
I love this game!

Wes - cdkeys were selling the game fairly cheap but its not the steam version. Currently £32.90

Ah thanks they're out of stock though. Gamestop selling the dvd's (all 7 of them! lol) for 30 quid:

Otherwise greenman gaming selling digital version for about the same price with voucher code ALLKEY-SHOP24-OFFEXC but some people saying there might be a wait because they probably oversold as usual.

Haha steam it is then?
I was not happy about sending £40 for a game I've already played but I wanted the steam version and I reckon £40 is an absolute bargain for what you get.

After playing last night i think keyboard and mouse seems the best option
tryed out the multiplayer last night necer really got a good feel for it think seems like it would be best olayed with friends got a badass looking clasic bellair chevie type thing with offroad tires
Gonna play it aigain tonight with just mouse and keyboard in story mode see how it goes its certinly a lot easir to shot while driving which i found imposible with the controller

Now why the fuck do we have to endure that shitty Rockstar splash screen every time we load the game???

It seems there is a fair bit of waiting for the game to load whilst doing online missions etc. I still love this game though!
