The below rules apply to everyone who plays in this server. Any failure to abide by these rules will result in admin action being taken against you. Please ensure you read them thoroughly as ignorance of our rules will not be an excuse.
1. RESPECT
Please be respectful of others in our server. Courtesy and respect cost nothing. Please be aware that people of all ages play in our server and be prepared to moderate your language to an appropriate level. If you have a disagreement with someone - take it outside and deal with it either by X-Fire / Steam Friends / PM in the forum if you are registered. If its so bad that you are incandescent with rage go outside and get some air or stick your head in the freezer to cool off. Flaming will not be tolerated and the admins are at liberty to deal with you by way of mute/slap/kick/ban if you fail to heed their warnings. Please pay attention to admin messages and if they relate to you - respond accordingly. Please do not use names that include swear words or could be deemed to be racist in their nature or origin. You will be asked to change them or be banned.
2. TEAMPLAY
The ethos of Server 1 is about teamplay. If you are not a teamplayer this server is not for you. We do not have stats enabled nor do we tolerate score-whores. Please play as part of a team using voice comms to good effect and being prepared to put yourself on offer to the opposing team in order to help your team achieve its objectives if the need arises. If you fail to participate as a team member you let your team down as well as yourself. Failing to participate as a team player is likely to result in you being dealt with by admins. Camping will not be tolerated and you may well find yourself flying around the map if you do.
3. DISCRIMINATION
Abuse / exclusion / threats made to anyone because of their race, religion or gender will NOT be tolerated in any form. There is a zero-tolerance policy in force in this server and anyone breaking this rule is liable to an immediate and permanent ban from all OFc servers and this forum.
4. ADMINS
The admins on our servers are carefully chosen. They are bound by rules that govern how they should behave and deal with individuals who fail to comply with our rules. They are responsible for ensuring that your time in our server is fun, friendly and fair. If you feel you have been inappropriately treated by an admin then please contact an SA in confidence by PM in this forum or X-Fire / Steam Friends. Admins are not to be abused in any way. An admin's decision is final at the time of being made by them. Do NOT flame them or challenge them in game over a decision that they have made. This is liable to get you kicked off the server pretty quickly and if you come back looking for a fight then you will be banned. If you wish to appeal an admin decision then please post your details in the "Sorted" section of the forum. The more mature, respectful and considerate you are in making your appeal the more likely it is to be dealt with in a similar manner.
5. MAP GLITCHES / EXPLOITS
No map is ever perfect in its design or construction and there are glitches or exploits in several maps we play that can allow players to gain an unfair advantage by using them. This is effectively cheating. Anyone who does so will be dealt with by the admins with a warning at first. If you continue to ignore the admins then worse will follow and ultimately you will be banned from the server.
6. HACKING / CHEATING
CS:S is a game. We play it for fun. There are no stats / ranks in our servers. We are not a competitive clan. You therefore have nothing to prove to us except that you can play fair and enjoy the banter that comes with it. There is no excuse for using cheats or hacks. When caught you will be banned from our servers and forum. We absolutely detest cheats and hackers and you will be treated with the contempt that you deserve. Our servers are VAC2 protected and once we've finished with you then it will be Valve's turn.
7. SPRAYS
We all have them and we all like tagging our victims or whatever else. We will not tolerate any pornographic sprays or any racist or discriminatory sprays of any kind. Do not use pictures (animated or otherwise) of CT's or T's as this would be deemed to be cheating and you will be dealt with by way of a warning initially and then you'll be banned if you ignore the admins. Where racist sprays are concerned you will be banned without question or warning.
8. MOTD ADVERTS
You will be expected to read the MOTD on joining the server. There is important information held there. Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse for breaking them. Adverts will only be visible to you when you are dead to prevent distraction in game. Please take the time to read them - you may well find useful information in them.
Our server is run by gamers for gamers. We expect courtesy, respect and fairness. In return we will provide you with somewhere to play, people that you can make friends with and the ability to have so much fun you'll wonder why you ever went anywhere else.
